Today, I went to Joann Fabrics with my mom and sister. We got fabric to re-cover some furniture - so fun! And then I wanted to find some paints to make a new picture. While in the paint aisle, I noticed a woman talking on her cell phone while her daughter stood bored by the cart. She seemed to be talking to her husband, who actually needed the paint, and she was trying to figure out what to get. She was having a hard time. She hung up and asked me if I could help her choose. Oh, also, she was British! So it was super fun to hear her talk! She told me what they needed paint for - to paint little figurines - so I helped her get what she needed. Her husband called her back and she said in her soft spoken accent that she apprehended an innocent bystander to help her. Meaning me! I loved her accent. I'd help her out just to hear her talk! But she got what she needed and was grateful for my help. And so was her daughter because she wanted out of there. Somehow, I always end up helping people at Joann's! Haha!
