So it Begins!

I've decided that I want to live in a world where people do nice things for each other. Sure, that may seem optimistic and you may think I'm silly, but it's fun to do the impossible! And if I want to change the world, I have to start with myself. While I try to do kind things as often as possible, I want to commit to doing one random act of kindness every day for a year, whether it's for my family, friends, co-workers, or complete strangers.

I've been inspired by my family, friends, loved ones, and future loved ones. I want them and all the wonderful people I haven't met to believe that miracles can happen and true kindness does exist. One day at a time, one act at a time, I believe I can change the world and make people just a little bit happier and know they are worth all the kindness in the world. That in turn may encourage them to perform their own acts of kindness.

Another inspiration for me has been the Kid President. This is a kid who posts funny, fun, inspirational videos and asks people to get up and do something to make the year awesome. So here is my contribution. If you haven't heard of the Kid President, check him out. He is incredible. I want to put him in my pocket and carry him around with me everywhere! So here goes! I will continue until March 2, 2014!
